Before founding Byway Capital in 2023, Florent accumulated 23 years of experience in the investment industry.
Graduate of EM Lyon Business School, he began his career at the Société Générale Group, where he spent 12 years — first in Mergers & Acquisitions, then at its subsidiary Amundi, where he developed the firm’s impact investing activity.
He subsequently joined Creadev, where he spent 13 years, notably serving as Chief Investment Officer.
Julia Marc joined Byway Capital in January 2025 as an Investment Director.
She began her investment career at Extendam in 2016, before joining the M&A department of Edmond de Rothschild in Paris.
In 2018, she joins the investment group HLD, where she plays a key role in the strategic oversight of portfolio companies as a member of five Boards. She worked on multiple transactions, notably in healthcare (Santé Cie), beauty (Filorga, SVR, Fillmed), and retail. She developed the Consumer Goods vertical notably through the acquisitions of iconic brands such as Jimmy Fairly (2021) and ba&sh (2022), supporting their expansion both in France and internationally.
Julia holds a Master’s degree from the Master 225 Corporate finance and Financial Engineering program at Université Paris-Dauphine.
Charles-Henri Boyer joined Byway Capital in November 2024 as Partner.
He began his career at Lazard and Bank of America Merrill Lynch, then joined La Compagnie Financière du Lion in M&A in 2013, before moving to Bpifrance’s Large Cap team in 2015.
As Investment Director, he supported numerous business leaders and led investments in Wifirst, Brevo, Idemia, Exosens, Total Eren, and GreenYellow, as well as in healthcare and early childhood (Les Petits Chaperons Rouges, Almaviva) and B2B services (Elis, Factoria/SMB).
Charles-Henri is a graduate of CentraleSupélec.
Caroline Ballaloud joined Byway Capital in March 2025 as a Business Development Investment Director.
After an initial experience in 2013 at Ardian in Singapore within the Fund of Funds / Co-Investment team, Caroline joined Greenhill & Co in London in 2014 as an Associate in the Private Equity Capital Advisory team, focusing on secondary markets. In 2016, she joined Helvetia Environnement Group in Geneva, the Swiss leader in waste management, as Director of Corporate Development, where she contributed to several acquisitions and financing projects.
In 2019, Caroline joined the investment fund Latour Capital, where she worked on mid-market majority LBO transactions, including carve-outs. She served on the board of Kandelium, a German chemical company.
Caroline is also highly involved in initiatives that combine Private Equity and philanthropy.
She graduated from EDHEC Business School and is admitted to the Paris Bar. She also holds an MBA from INSEAD.
After gaining initial experience in 2016 at Deloitte Paris within the Transaction Services and Restructuring teams, Marion joined Creadev, family-office of the Mulliez family (owners of the Decathlon, Auchan, Leroy Merlin and Boulanger brands) in Paris in 2020 as an Associate within the Climate (Circular Economy, Climate Tech) and Food teams.
She has contributed to investments in and support for companies such as Recommerce, Selency, Circular X and Sitel. She played a key role in structuring the sector and launching Creadev’s climate-related activities.
In 2023, Marion moved to Singapore, where she launched an entrepreneurial project to support start-ups in the region with fundraising, strategic and financial support.
Marion joined Byway Capital in 2024, initially from Singapore, then from Paris in 2025. At Byway, Marion has been involved in investments in Medicore, Leetchi x iRaiser, CDS, and Olifan.
She holds a Master’s degree in Finance & Strategy from Sciences Po Paris.
Damien Leclerc is the Chief Executive Officer of Byway Capital.
He began his career at Hartwood in 2006 as a Management Controller.
He subsequently held the roles of Chief Financial Officer in 2008, Director of Business Solutions in 2011, and Director of Strategic Development in 2017.
He was appointed Chief Executive Officer in 2022.
Originally a consulting and engineering group, Hartwood underwent a major transformation during his tenure. Damien played a key role in the organization and structuring of its operations, helping the company grow from 400 to 2,500 employees by 2022, expanding from a single IT services company to 12 operational entities.
In parallel, he earned an Executive MBA from HEC Paris in 2017.
Jean-Yves Le Mouillour joined Byway in 2023 as an Operating Partner, bringing his expertise in Finance, Legal Affairs, and Compliance.
He began his career in audit at PwC before moving into industrial management control at Delphi Automotive. In 2000, he joined the Hartwood Group.
For over 20 years, he supported the Group through all stages of its growth — from managing its early start-up phase to leading the negotiation of AFD Tech’s acquisition by Accenture.
As Chief Financial Officer, he designed and implemented the entire management system, structured support functions, and oversaw the Group’s financial performance.
